Trial terms
- The trial starts when you create your account (or when you begin the trial in the app, depending on your flow).
- Trial access ends automatically when the trial period ends.
- If you do not subscribe, access after the trial depends on the app’s non-subscribed experience.

Billing
How billing works
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Charges may appear as Apple.com/bill on your statement.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel.
- You are charged at the start of each billing period.
- Apple displays pricing in your local currency and may apply taxes where required.
App Store fees
Apple charges a commission on App Store subscriptions. This is handled by Apple and is standard for App Store purchases.
Manage Subscription
Subscribe
- Open Duenly
- Go to Settings
- Tap Upgrade to Pro
- Select Monthly or Yearly
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
Cancel
- Open the iPhone Settings app
- Tap your name
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Duenly
- Tap Cancel Subscription
To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal time.
What happens when you cancel
- You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- You won’t be charged again unless you resubscribe.
- Canceling does not delete your data.
Restore purchases
If you subscribed on another device or reinstalled the app:
- Open Duenly
- Go to Settings
- Tap Restore Purchases
Use the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.
Refunds
Apple handles billing and refunds for App Store subscriptions. Duenly cannot issue refunds directly.
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find the Duenly purchase
- Select Request a refund and follow Apple’s steps
Apple reviews refund requests and makes the final decision.
AI Usage Limits
Why are there limits?
AI features incur processing costs. Limits help us keep pricing reasonable and maintain service quality.
What counts as an AI assist?
- Breaking a task into steps
- Rewriting a task into a smaller, clearer version
What does not count?
- Shuffling tasks (algorithmic, not AI)
- Creating, editing, or completing tasks
- Using Focus Mode
When do limits reset?
- Trial: no reset (5 total during the trial period)
- Pro: daily reset around midnight in your device’s local timezone
Limits may change over time as we improve fairness and reliability. This page will be updated if material changes are made.
Family Sharing
Duenly subscriptions currently do not support Apple Family Sharing. Each user needs their own subscription.
Changing Plans
Plan changes are managed by Apple. If Apple presents alternative plans for your subscription, you can switch there. Otherwise, you can cancel and resubscribe when your current billing period ends.
Available options may vary by region.
Student Discounts
We do not currently offer student discounts.
